An excellent and rewarding job opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious PSV Technician to join our business, based at Darlington Depot. As an Technician, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).
As a team, we are dedicated to working towards delivering a safe, reliable, clean and efficient service to meet the needs of our customers. Our Engineering Team is a core function of our business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition.

The role will involve:
-Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
-Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
-MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks
-Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)
-Hours may require Shift working

Квалификации
Requirements:
-Knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognised qualifications (e.g. Level 3 NVQ or Level 2/Level 3 IRTEC)
-At least 3 years bus experience and MOT experience
-Knowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation
-Electrical circuits and systems knowledge - Desirable
-A PCV license – Desirable
-Full UK driving licence (6 points or less) - essential
-Ability to pass fit for PCV pre-employment medical - essential
